The app is very easy to use and has great looking reports. It has an automatic weather integrated into reports which is fantastic to keep track of weather lost days. You can also set email reminders when you forget to fill out daily report which is one of many great features the app has to offer. Recently, a lot of added features such as toolbox talks, production to track labor, equipment and materials has been added. It is an overall great organizational app to track your jobsite hours, progress, keep a log of your jobsite photos and so much more. Highly recommend as it is very easy to use and it has a talk to type feature.
What do you dislike?
I would like to see the implementation of different Price Plans by employee. For a company with many employees you are almost certain to be on the higher price plan as you will have some employees need the added features. Currently you have to pick one plan for all employees which has limited me from adding some employees as it is not cost effective to pay a higher price plan rate when they are using only one aspect of the app such as logging hours. As such you should be able to pick different plans for different employees depending on their role and needs. Another issue is you cannot see time card reports on the on app. This needs to be done on a PC.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
great automation and time saving of your jobsite reports. highly recommend.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
No more arguments on time discrepancy. Up to date daily reports and site conditions. Great to log what is happening on your jobsite in real time. Keeping track of any delays, deficiencies etc. which have given me the necessary backup to dispute alleged backcharges

Raken allows our construction inspectors to complete their daily reports in the field as the work is happening instead of jotting down notes and then typing into the computer back in the office at the end of the day. Raken also helps keep track of photos and gives me, the Project Manager, immediate access to their data.
What do you dislike?
Downside - I wish it could integrate with Smartsheet.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We needed a tool to help us keep track of 50+ simultaneous street reconstruction projects and Raken was the perfect tool for our daily reports and progress photo document control.
What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
Solved problems - keeping progress photos organized. Benefits realized: 1-1.5 hours saved at the end of the day since inspectors don't have to return to the jobsite trailer to complete their daily reports and rename/refile photos.

1. Off-line usage for my lack of access to WiFi on the job site. 2. Automatic filing of job pictures to job-named folders for easy retrieval. 3. Ease of creating new projects. 4. Ability to edit previous entries. 5. Easy to do throughout the day, or throughout the site-walk.
What do you dislike?
1. Inability to edit the job information (specifically location) when creating a project from my mobile device. 2. When inputting Work Log information on my phone the text boxes sometimes follow down to the "Description" box, making it hard to see what I am typing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't get a Windows platform. Only use Apple or Google. Windows is not yet supported.

1. Easy review of project pictures to settle disputes. 2. Talk-to-Text is easier and faster than pencil-to-paper.
